Site notice and privacy policy kept current
The legal requirements for a site notice and a privacy policy change regularly. Through our eRecht24 partnership you get lawyer-reviewed building blocks for those pages, which we update as needed.
Consent banner with proper opt-in
As soon as a website sets more than technically necessary cookies, it needs the visitor’s consent beforehand. A consent banner collects that consent and records it. We set it up and embed only what is genuinely needed.
Operations under the GDPR, in Germany
The GDPR shows up in operations, not only in a legal text. We host in German data centres, with no detour through third countries, and serve fonts, scripts and images from your own domain. When someone opens your site, no visitor data goes to Google, Meta and the rest.
Data processing agreement for our services
As soon as we process data on your behalf, for instance on our servers, the GDPR requires a data processing agreement. We provide one. It states in writing who does what with your data and how long it stays with us.
Third-party services embedded sparingly
Maps, videos or fonts loaded from other people’s servers often transmit visitor data the moment a page opens. Where possible we host such content ourselves; where that is not possible, it loads only after consent.
Technical review of existing websites
A site that is already live can be reviewed too. On request we check which external services load when a page opens, where data goes in the process, and whether the consent banner takes effect before anything is fetched. Whether a site notice and privacy policy exist and are maintained through eRecht24 we check as well. What has to be in them legally is for a lawyer to judge; the technical side we put right.
